Streamline your user authentication process with Single Sign-On (SSO) in Flexito OmniAI. By enabling SSO, you can effortlessly sync user data across multiple channels, enhancing user experience and ensuring seamless data management. Discover how to set up and customize your SSO login flow for optimal performance.
Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to manage one master bot user that synchronises data across all your bot users on different channels. This is especially useful for maintaining consistent data and identifying users when multiple channels are in use.
How to Enable SSO Login in Flexito OmniAI
To activate SSO, navigate to the “Settings” tab located at the bottom-left of your Flow builder side menu. Then, select the “SSO Settings” option.
Configuring the SSO Login Flow
Select the “Basic” tab and complete the necessary information.
After completing this, create a new sub-flow to establish the SSO logic.
Once SSO is activated, you will notice “SSO Required” in the Start nodes of sub-flows. Enabling this directs users to the SSO login, and upon successful authentication, they are redirected to the sub-flow you specified in the settings.
After a successful login, a “Thank you” screen will display for 5 seconds before automatically redirecting the user to the follow-up subflow. Alternatively, you can choose to exit the page manually.
Advanced SSO Configuration
Advanced settings allow you to create custom logic flows for SSO. This is particularly useful in channels where buttons with links do not populate correctly. Use the system variable field called “SSO Url” to set this up.
Data Synchronisation Between Users
The bot user marked with the SSO tag acts as the master user, synchronising data between the same bot user across different channels.
When you add a tag or modify a variable for the SSO user, the change is reflected for bot users in other channels as well.
Similarly, if you add a tag or alter a variable for a bot user in other channels, the change is mirrored for the SSO user.
This feature allows for seamless data synchronisation across multiple channels, providing greater flexibility when managing multiple bot users.
It is important to note that bot users are still counted individually. SSO serves only to synchronise data between bot users, not to consolidate them into a single user.
Personalise the Thank You Page
You can now personalise the text on the thank you page to suit your preferences. By default, the text reads “thank you.” This customisation is available in both Basic and Advanced SSO modes.
