We'll use Hotmail as our example for this setup.
Complete the fields as shown in the image. Your "Sender name" can be found in your account details. After filling in the information, click "Save". A notification in the upper right corner will indicate success with "Verified" or failure with "Failed" as shown below:
If your email address is successfully verified, you will receive a test email.

Why Connect Your Gmail Account Using SMTP?
Connecting a Gmail account through an SMTP profile is sometimes necessary, especially when you need to link a client's Gmail account to the Flexito OmniAI Platform without having direct access to their Google Account.
To proceed, you must enable the following on the Google Account:
Enable two-factor authentication
Generate an app-specific password to allow external app access to this SMTP profile.
Let's start by enabling two-factor authentication.
Navigate to Google Profile > Manage your Google Account > Security > 2-Step Verification
After completing the 2-step verification, proceed to generate the App Specific Passwords.
Search for "App Passwords", select the Device, and choose Other (Custom name),
For example, type "Flexito OmniAI" and click the Generate button.
Click the Generate button to create your password. Copy the password and click "Done".
Copy the generated password, open the SMTP Profile in the Integrations section of your workspace, and paste the password. Fill in all necessary details.
Your Gmail account should now be registered using the SMTP Profile.

Integrating Office365 SMTP with Flexito OmniAI

To integrate Office365 into the SMTP profile within Flexito OmniAI, follow these steps:
1. Create an App-based Password.
2. Configure SMTP within the Flexito OmniAI Platform.
Creating an App-based Password
- Log in to your Office 365 User account ()

- Navigate to "Security info" on the left panel.
- Click "Add Sign-in method".
- Choose "App Password" and follow the instructions to create an app password. Save the password, for example, in a notepad, as it will not be visible again once created.
Configuring the SMTP Profile in Flexito OmniAI
After creating and storing the password, proceed to the Flexito OmniAI SMTP integrations and complete the setup as follows:
SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com Port: 587 Encryption: TLS User name: <Email Address> Password: <App Password created>

Once all details are entered, click the Create Button to connect your verified Office365 Email account.
In the flow builder, you can select this SMTP profile from the dropdown when sending emails and use it across any supported channel.

You can provide your login details to Flexito OmniAI support, and we will test and resolve the issue on our end.
If you set up the SMTP credentials and still can't send emails using the online tools, the issue may be with your provider or incorrect credentials. Contact your provider for the correct login details.
