Creating and Using Custom Events In Flexito OmniAI

Navigate to your dashboard, select the bot, and enter the flow builder.

Within the flow builder, go to the Content tab and choose custom events.

When creating a new event, you need to provide the following parameters.

Event Name: This is used to identify the custom event.

Event Description: This describes what the custom event does and tracks.

Parameter Names: These are the names of parameters you wish to track, such as product, sales category, or person's name.

You don't need to fill in every parameter for the event to function, but at least one parameter must be provided for tracking.

Once an event is created, go to your flow builder and add the “Custom Event” action from the Action block to start integrating and tracking the event.

Click on Edit action to begin setting up the event.

The event will track the channel users are coming from, adding one count to the total number of events occurring.

The event is now ready for tracking.

You can add more steps to your funnel report to build a collaborative or comparison report on multiple events, tracking performance on various fronts.

To change the colours of trendline graphs and bar charts, click on the palette icon in the top left corner and select the chart you wish to modify.

You can also edit the graphs and charts themselves, adjusting labels, axes, and choosing whether to enable or disable them in the report.

Modelling Percentage Report In percentage reports, you can compare two events to see how they perform relative to each other.

To add events, click on Field A and Field B.

To edit the charts and graphs, click here to adjust them as needed.

Formulae Percentage reports allow you to use formulae to calculate percentages and relevant events.

Formula #1 This formula compares two fields and calculates the relative percentage between them. For example:

  • Field A can be the number of students in Class A, and Field B can be the total number of students in a school. This formula helps calculate the percentage of Class A students compared to the total student population.

  • Field A can be the number of sales of product A, and Field B can be the total number of sales. This formula calculates the percentage of sales for product A.

Formula #2

This formula compares two fields and, like formula 1, provides the relative percentage. Here, Field A and Field B can be two parts, with the denominator giving the sum of the constituents.

Field A can be the number of users passing through Flow A, and Field B can be the number of users passing through Flow B. This formula shows how many people passed through each flow, which is important for A/B testing.

Formula #3 & 4

These formulae compare two fields and provide a value not directly derived. For example, in a marketing SMS campaign, you can track the total number of people targeted and those who replied to be added to the DNC (Do Not Contact) list. This formula helps derive the actual number of people who responded to the campaign or the actual response rate.
