Flexito OmniAI's master template feature streamlines the process of managing and updating templates across multiple workspaces. Ideal for partners who manage client templates, this feature ensures consistency and ease of updates by allowing changes to be made from a single master template.

Flexito OmniAI now enables users to create master templates, allowing updates to be applied across all workspaces where the template is installed, directly from the original workspace where the master template was created.

This feature is particularly beneficial for partners who want to manage and control templates for their clients, as well as restore templates, all from their whitelabel workspace.

Auto-Update Use Cases This feature is especially useful for partners who need to install templates for their clients and update them later. They can easily do this by updating the master template.

Another use case is when subflows in a workspace are deleted or lost. Updating the master template restores these subflows, as the update reinstalls the template in the workspace, bringing back all flows.

How to Create a Template in Flexito OmniAI

To create a template, navigate to your workspace’s dashboard, click on 'My Contents', then select 'My Bot Templates'. Click '+New Template' to begin.

Choose the bot you wish to use as the source for your template.

Decide on the type of subflow you want to include in the template.

Select the specific subflows you wish to incorporate into the template.

Fill in the necessary details and activate the Auto-update feature.

Once the template is created, copy the installation link and use it to install the template in another workspace.

How to Update Templates in Flexito OmniAI

After installing, go to 'Flows' and open the folder containing the template subflows.

Users can modify these subflows by detaching them from the master template.

Return to the original workspace containing the master template. Edit the subflow and apply any updates needed.

After updating the subflow, return to the 'My Content' tab in the workspace’s dashboard.

Click 'Update flows' and select the updated subflow, following the instructions provided earlier.

Once the template is successfully updated, revisit the workspace where the template was installed and check the template subflows. They should now reflect the updates made to the master template.

The Auto Update feature will not work if a bot exceeds the default limit of 2000 nodes. This can be identified if version numbers differ between bots.
