Linking your Line Business Account with Flexito OmniAI might seem a bit challenging. This guide offers a detailed step-by-step process for registering and accessing the Messaging API within your Line Business Account.

Many users find the Messaging API screen confusing after activation. Flexito OmniAI's Line setup requires the following information to connect your Line account with the Line Chatbot:

1. Channel ID

2. Channel Secret

3. Channel Access Token

The Messaging API screen displays the “Channel ID” and “Channel Secret” but leaves the Webhook field empty.

Once you complete the registration and connect your Line Partner Account with Flexito OmniAI Line Bot, the Flexito OmniAI webhook link will appear here automatically.

At this point, continue the registration to obtain the Channel Secret Key, completing the Flexito OmniAI requirements.

Click on “What is Messaging API” as shown in the image above (highlighted in red). A new tab will open, switching from “manager.line.biz” to “developers.line.biz” domain.

In the new tab, click the “Start now” button as shown in the image below (highlighted in red).

A new page will open asking for more information. Ignore the form and click on the Admin account you created with Line, located on the left side of the screen (highlighted in red).

The next page will show the developer profile created during the Messaging API activation. Click on the developer profile.

The developer profile features various tabs to manage the Line account. This is where you'll find your information.

Under the “Basic Setting” tab, the first section contains the “Channel ID” in Basic Information.

In the “Basic Settings” tab, near the bottom, you'll find the “Channel Secret” key.

For the “Channel access token” information, switch to the Messaging API tab, the second tab after Basic Settings.

You'll find the Channel Access Token info at the bottom of the Messaging API tab. Click on Issue to access the key, as shown in the image below (highlighted in red).

After clicking “Issue,” the Channel Access Token information will be generated and look like this.

Copy the three required keys from the developer profile as outlined above and enter them in Flexito OmniAI when creating a Line Chatbot. The information should appear as follows.

Click “Add” at the bottom right corner to link your Line Business Account with your Flexito OmniAI account.

Having successfully connected the Flexito OmniAI Line Chatbot with the Line Partner Account, reopen the Line Partner Account to verify the Flexito OmniAI Webhook, ensuring your Line Chatbot in Flexito OmniAI functions correctly.

Skipping this step will result in a non-functional Chatbot.

You can verify the Flexito OmniAI webhook information from the Line Developer Portal created to access the Channel Access Token. (see Image Below)

  • Click to verify the connection

  • Enable the 'Use Webhook' option to activate communication between Line and the Flexito OmniAI Chatbot.

You are now ready to create a Line Chatbot and engage with your customers.

Creating a Line Chatbot

Line is a recent addition to the Flexito OmniAI channel portfolio. On the Flexito OmniAI dashboard, click on the Line channel option on the left side of the screen where all channels are listed.

After clicking, the Line channel page will open. Click on the “Add New Line Bot” button as shown in the image below.

Click "Add New Line Bot" to enter your Messaging APIs.

A pop-up window will appear offering two options:

1. A registration link for the Line Business Account for users without an account. (click here to access a video guide on how to successfully register and integrate a Line account)

2. Three API fields for users with an active Line Business Account to enter Line Messaging API keys for successful channel integration.

To integrate and connect your Line account with Flexito OmniAI, you'll need the following information:

1. Channel ID

2. Channel Secret

3. Channel Access Token

Some users are confused about the Webhook URL requirement on the Line Business Account and are submitting support tickets. We've created a video guide to demonstrate the Line registration process. Click to access it.

After entering the required information, click “Add” at the bottom right corner of the pop-up window as shown in the image below.

This completes the integration of your Line Business Account with Flexito OmniAI. As shown in the image below, you can click on the “Create Flow” button on the right-hand side (highlighted in red) to start creating your Line Chatbot flow.

Testing Your Chatbot Flow To preview or test the interaction experience you're creating for your audience, follow these steps:

From the Flow builder page, click on ‘Preview’ at the top.

A pop-up window will open with two options (as shown in the image below):

Open in Line

This option directs you to Line's official website, where you can download the Line Desktop app. Note that the Line Desktop app does not support “quick reply buttons,” so they won't be visible.

QR Code

Scan the QR code using your Line app on your phone. This will open the chat with a pre-populated string in the typing section.

Sending this string opens a 24-hour testing window between you and your channel, allowing you to test your flow without using messages from your plan.

The string will appear as follows: /start -uflow::main::draft::123

You only need to scan the QR code once every 24 hours. Within this period, each time you click Preview, it will directly trigger the flow in the mobile app.
