Common Facebook Channel Errors
Error: "Unsupported post request. Cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation"
You may encounter the following error message:
Unsupported post request. The object with ID '' does not exist, cannot be loaded due to missing permissions, or does not support this operation. Please refer to the Graph API documentation at
When connecting the channel to our platform, you will see a screen requesting permissions. Ensure you select all the required permissions.
Watch this video for guidance on connecting your Facebook page:
Due to changes in Meta's permissions requirements, in addition to Facebook page permissions, you must also connect your Facebook Business Manager under “Integration” -> E-commerce -> Facebook Business.
If your page does not appear when redirected back to Flexito OmniAI, refer to the video below:
To resolve this, reconnect your Facebook page, select the desired page, and grant all necessary permissions for our platform.
Error: "Sending payload: (#100) Invalid message data"
This error occurs when the data type you are sending is not permitted for your message type, according to the Meta error code.
In an omni-channel environment, verify the supported channels for each message element. Social icons, as shown in the screenshot below, can assist:

Error: "Sending payload: (#551) This person isn't available at the moment"
Some users have private profiles, which means that while they can comment on posts, their direct messages are unavailable, leading to this error as Meta prevents message delivery.
Other potential reasons include: - The user may have blocked your bot, preventing message delivery. - A temporary glitch on Meta servers; try again later.

Error: "You have been temporarily blocked from performing this action"
You might see the following error message:
Error sending payload: (#2022) You have been temporarily blocked from performing this action. This indicates a temporary block on your Facebook account by Facebook.
We cannot send messages to any account blocked by Facebook. Check your Facebook Business Manager or Page Alert Notification Center for more details on this issue.
Error: "Hide comment error: (#200) Users can only edit their own comments published by the same app"
This error appears when using the "hide comments" action in the flow.
Most comments on posts can be hidden, except for the following:
· Comments made by the Page

Error: "Connecting different FB pages to different workspaces using 1 FB account"
Users sometimes face issues where connecting one page to a specific workspace leads to disconnection when adding another page to a different workspace.
Possible cause of the error:
In 90% of cases, this occurs because the user deselects the already connected Facebook page on the other workspace during the connection process.
Possible Solution:
The video below is intended for users experiencing this specific issue, as we do not openly promote this procedure.
Ensure you select all pages connected to the Flexito OmniAI platform, even if you see an error message like "xx page is connected to xx workspace"—this should not be a concern.
However, you will lose connection to the previous page if you do not select those pages to connect. Always ensure you select all pages connecting to the Flexito OmniAI platform.
Error: "Comment reply error: You've already posted this. Posting the same content repeatedly on Facebook isn't allowed"
You cannot repeatedly post the same content.
To avoid this, use a randomizer to send varied messages or employ openAI to dynamically create personalised content.
Error: "Message not sent because outside 24 hours"
This limitation applies to Meta channels (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp). If a user hasn't interacted with your bot within the last 24 hours, you can't reach them directly.
You will encounter this error message.
For WhatsApp, send a template message. For Messenger, send a recurring or one-time notification.
For Instagram users, capture their email or phone number to reach them via email or SMS, even if they are outside the 24-hour window.
More details here:
Use a condition like the one shown in the screenshot below to ensure you're reaching users who have interacted with your chatbot in the past 24 hours, and employ different methods for those outside the 24-hour interaction window.
Additionally, you can contact users via email or SMS. Ensure they have opted in to receive SMS and email messages.
Error: "I can’t receive recurring notification request message"
This occurs because Facebook imposes a rate limit, allowing only one opt-in request per week with the same title to a person, including the default "Updates and promotions".
If you're testing the recurring notification request, it may trigger the first time but not in subsequent tests.
Also,
Do not send duplicate opt-in requests to a person. A duplicate opt-in request is defined as having the same title for notifications from a Facebook Page or the same title and image_url for notifications from an Instagram Professional account
You can only send in opt-in requests during the standard messaging window
If a person opts in to marketing messages, this action does not open a standard messaging window
You can only see if a person has opted in to receiving marketing messages but not the statuses for pending opt-in requests
If a person has chosen to stop receiving marketing messages, your notifications will no longer be delivered to that person and you will receive an error
A person can block, mute, or report your messaging
For marketing messages sent from an Instagram Professional account, generally, up to 10 opt-in requests for different titles can be sent per user over a 7-day period. A sub-limit of up to 5 opt-in requests may be sent to a user in a day. However, you should consider whether users are likely to find each opt-in request relevant and valuable before sending.
These requirements and limitations are subject to change as we continually strive to enhance the user and business experience. More information:
